Ever wondered who and what the mysterious Danish
brewery are?
We will be having a very small affair with 30 people
max tasting 6 of their range of beers. The beers
will be paired with small bites of very flavorful
food to compliment these big character beers.
Beers to be tasted will be:
It's Alive! - Dry, Hoppy Belgian Style
Black Hole - Imperial Stout
Beer Geek Breakfast - Espresso Breakfast Stout
Jackie Brown - Funky Brown Ale
Divine Rebel - Brewdog/Mikkeller collaboration -
Barley Wine
Monks Brew (on draft) - Rochefort/Westvleteren style
This will be taking place September 22nd @ 8pm

Stone
Fest III - Thursday 14th October from 6pm
To celebrate the release of their Vertical Epic
10/10/10 we are having our annual Stone Fest, as
usual we will have 2 casks, which have been specially
doctored up from the masters at Stone and 6 lines
of draft. There will also be some of the first 10/10/10
available!!! Food will be made to compliment the
beers and of course there will be our now famous
sample trays!
One
Over The Eight Card
The One over the eight card is a
promotion which has been launched at the Old Toad
which rewards people for their regular custom. The
saying originates from England where they said the
next beer after the eighth would be the one that
finally sends you over the edge and become drunk.
We hope the card proves popular with our regulars
along with hoping to encourage people to become
even more regular guests to our establishment by
rewarding you for your custom.
