Placement Program Englishman David Wickett and his American partner, John Roman, founded The Old Toad in 1990 with a plan to bring British university students to Rochester to work in a British-styled pub to gain knowledge about the industry and to experience working and living in the United States. Full time student staff - students will be expected to work for at least 48 weeks. Shifts and hours consist of 40 per week. The hours may vary according to the amount of business. Pay will be based on the position. Payroll is every week, paid on Fridays.
