guest beer
There are many great beers internationally, domestically and locally. Too many to mention. Here at The Old Toad we take a lot of pride in being able to bring you an ever changing range of these.

In addition to over 90 bottled beers, 9 permanent draught lines and up to 4 ever-changing real ale lines, we dedicate five Guest Draught lines, where each beer is always different than the last.

We strive to make the most of these taps so that we can present a line up that will hopefully appeal to everyone’s taste. We choose not to offer the endless selection that some other bars do, this allows us to guarantee to you, the drinker, that you are getting a fresh pint of beer. If there are any beers that you really want to try please let us know and we will endeavor to get them for you. We hope you enjoy the beers because this is where our passion lies.

PERMANENT DRAUGHTS ON TAP

The Old Toad Nut Brown Ale
$4
Brewed exclusively for us here at The Toad for many years by Custom BrewCrafters. Dark brown colour. Loads of nut flavour, low bitterness and a slight sweetness makes for a wonderful beer.

Doc's Draught Hard Apple Cider $4
½
This cider is semi-dry and wonderfully effervescent with a remarkably fresh apple nose. Its crisp, fruit forward taste and a clean, refreshing finish, have won this cider countless awards and praise. (4.5% alcohol)..

Cream Flow (currently on - Tetleys) $4
½
Cream flow is a type of dispensation. The beer is pushed from the keg using primarily nitrogen. This gives a thick creamy head that some drinkers value. Popular choices include: Young's Double Chocolate Stout, Old Speckled Hen, Boddingtons, Green King IPA, and Belhaven.

Guinness - Stout $4½
The original stout was initially made by accident as the barley was burnt. Black body, creamy white head. Displays a smooth pleasant dryness. Full of iron, light-bodied and low in calories. 4.1% ABV.

NOTE: Beers on tap change frequently at The Old Toad. This page may not reflect the actual beers available...but we try to update this list on a regular basis.
